【建築探訪】金沢駅／トデック
北陸新幹線の開通により、東京－京都間と同じ時間程度で行けるようになった金沢市。歴史的建造物とセンスの良い現代建築が同居する街のイメージが強かったので、早速行ってみました。
御存知の通り駅を出れば鼓門がどどんと迎えてくれます。

If you have been to Kanazawa, did you notice two beautiful Japanese art? They are Japanese traditional art style “Kaga-Yuzen(加賀友禅)”. named Kachofugetsu(花鳥風月). It shows the four major beautiful things in nature. They are flowers(花), birds(鳥), winds(風), moon(月). four things change per the season.
新幹線改札内のエスカレータを昇ると視界にこのような2つの絵が現れます。加賀友禅で、左が兼六園の花鳥風月、右がアケビだそうです。美しい。
I shot it in the early morning, a few traveler. In daytime there is very crowded!
In the early morning, few people waited for next Shinkansen…
Pillars at shinkansen platform are coated gold dust. Already you know, Ishikawa Pref. is top producer of gold dust in Japan.

General Contractor : Chisansya , Okagumi Corporation , Honjin Corporation (施工：治山社、岡組、本陣住宅JV).
Completed : March 2005 (竣工：2005年3月).
